Chipmunks eat and collect a lot of food
Chipmunks are busy creatures: busy eating or busy storing food.
In their normal environment, they will eat anything they can lay their hands on. Chipmunks are not the best climbers, so they will eat what they come across to when searching the grounds. This includes grains, seeds, nuts, berries, fruit, fungi and insects.
But we have seen chipmunks eating pizza as well!
What do chipmunks eat?
Almost all they can find on the ground!
What chipmunks can’t finish, they will carry to their nest to store. Although chipmunks hibernate, they don’t live of their fat but of the nuts and seeds they stored throughout the year.
How to get rid of chipmunks
Once there is no food on the ground for chipmunks to eat nor to store in their nest, you will be rid of chipmunks! This is the most logical approach in getting rid of chipmunks!
